Our Work

TechSpark School Visits

Between conferences, TMF's work does not pause; it just changes address.

TechSpark has three strands

TechSpark Conference

The annual one-day exposure conference.

TechSpark School Visits

You are here. Sessions delivered inside schools, built around the gap each school names.

TechSpark for Teachers

Capacity building for teachers, so digital skills reach every student they teach.

What school visits are

We come to the school, and we teach to the gap they name

Each visit starts the same way: a conversation with the school's own leadership about the one gap most holding their students back, and a session built around that answer, not a fixed script.

From Government Secondary School Borokiri to Degema National High School, GSS Usokun, CSS Egbeke Etche and CSS Rumuekini, the pattern repeats: a packed room, a wall of raised hands, and students meeting the idea that technology is something they can actually build a future in. Every session is designed to move a student through three things: exposure to what a technology career looks like, a hands-on experience that makes it feel real, and a measurable shift in confidence and career clarity.

How a visit runs

Three steps, every time

Consultation with school leadership

Every visit starts with a conversation about the one capability gap most holding that school's students back.

A session built around that answer

There is no fixed script. At Degema National High School the Principal named computer literacy as the barrier preventing students from completing WAEC and JAMB computer-based examinations, so the programme was built around that.

A clearer route forward

Students leave with exposure to what a technology career looks like, hands-on experience that makes it feel real, and a stronger basis for choosing a tech-related path in further education.
